2 April, 2017: After much soul searching and financial calculation, Stonedog has finally released it prize film, Hornsleth: Product of Love on Youtube for free.

It is unprecedented for a film of such calibre and production values to take this route. However, Stonedog aims to pick up advertising revenue from the YouTube presentation, and also production kudos in the film world.

"In the end, we decided to spread the word rather than look in vain for distribution in a straitjacketed market," says Ishmael Annobil, the film's director.

Stonedog is also working on offering more commercial options, such as downloads and DVD, via the film's website (thehornslethfilm.com), and through mainstream aggregators. A big screen version is also in the offing, via cloud streaming. In the meantime, Stonedog urges all fans of the film to share it avidly on social media and anywhere else.
