JEFF OWUSU is a DOP, cinematographer and editor. He started out as a jazz/hip hop dancer then got into djing which led him into becoming a sound engineer. He was asked to record the soundtrack for the short Concrete Garden by Alrick Riley, and this excited his interest in film sound and, subsequently, visuals.

He has been a freelancer for over 12 years, as a sound engineer/sound recordist, cameraman, editor and DOP. His clients as a cinematographer include, dejupro, Gridloc Films and OliveTree.

He has been video editor for the highly acclaimed documentary Married 2DA Streetz;  assistant director for music video for ILLKO Productions; cameraman for the short film by IN A DAY G Artworks for Kai Management; Chief Sound Recordist for The New International Film Run Baby Run; sound Recordist for the short film Roundabout and Run! Baby! Run!; editor for the MOBO AWARDS 2007 commissioned by Mobo TV; technical editor for the Atomic Hooligans I Don't Care music video, and cameraman for the Cannes Game Festival 2008.

Jeff lives and works in London, and he is the unflinching organiser of the ever-popular film circle, Meetup with London independent filmmakers & crew.
